ISO Certification: What it means to you
At Sunstates Security, ISO Certification isn’t just something for us to brag about. It’s a critical part of our commitment to quality assurance and better service for you.
That’s why we’re working towards obtaining ISO 9004–2 Certification. This (international) standard set of guidelines for Quality Management Systems (QMS) gives us quantifiable ways to measure how we serve our clients. ISO Certification is just one of more than ten formal programs we have in place to assure quality.
At Sunstates, quality ultimately means security. The ISO standard gives us the tools we need to make tangible and proactive improvements to our service. And it allows us to prevent problems before they occur. We continually assess key processes and evaluate trends in data we collect to monitor progress to create an environment where we provide consistent and reliable service to our customers.
Jeff Cathcart, Sunstates’ director of compliance and quality assurance, leads the company’s ISO efforts. “You have to see ISO as an integral part of business success,” he says. “It’s easy to get lost in all the details of compliance. We’re simplifying the process to make sure it’s easy for everyone to adhere to it. That way we can keep our eye on the big picture: better performance for our customers.”
