When Disaster Strikes...Just call Sunstates
We’ve all watched in horror the devastation wrought from January’s earthquake in Haiti, the massive earthquake in Chile and as Nashville’s beloved landmarks filled with flood waters. It’s hard to comprehend the scope of such disasters, much less how we might deal with the circumstances if we were victims.
Fortunately, Sunstates Security already has a team in place to assist you in the case of natural or man–made disaster or crisis. The Sunstates Mutual Aid Rapid Response Team (SMARRT) consists of six specially trained and equipped team members, ready for rapid deployment at a moment’s notice, either for direct action or special reconnaissance operations.
SMARRT’s primary focus is protection of clients’ personnel and/or assets and immediate containment of an incident until appropriate law enforcement arrives. The expertise of the team is offered to clients only, on an as–needed basis. It’s just one more way Sunstates adds value to its client relationships.
Our SMARRT team includes elite professionals with extensive and unique security expertise. From Scotland Yard to urban SWAT teams to U.S. Army Special Forces, this team is equipped to handle any situation you might have.
Such was the case in 2005, when Hurricane Katrina hit the Gulf Coast with horrendous results. Sunstates was called by a client needing help to protect two stricken facilities in Mississippi. At stake were thousands of gallons of fuel and and millions of dollars in inventory. Sunstates had two SMARRT teams assembled and onsite in less than 30 hours from the time of the request.
“I know that I can rely on Sunstates Security to come up big when I needed them,” said our grateful client. “I always feel good when I ask them to help in any situation because they have never let me down.”
We hope you’re never faced with such a crisis. But as a Sunstates client, it’s good to know that help is always here.
