March 18, 2015

SUNSTATES SECURITY APPOINTS DENIS J. KELLY AS
VICE PRESIDENT

Denis J. Kelly

RALEIGH, N.C. — Denis J. Kelly has been named vice president at Sunstates Security.

In this newly created position at the company, Kelly will oversee customer service, marketing, sales and business development efforts, including strategic growth initiatives.

Kelly brings to Sunstates nearly 20 years of experience working in the contract corporate and industrial security services industry. Most recently, he served as executive director of business development for Andrews International, a global security services firm. Prior to that, he held positions of increasing responsibility for 15 years at Guardsmark LLC, including the vice president.

“From our start, Sunstates has been committed to building positive, long–term relationships with clients by providing highly trained staff, keeping management closely involved through regular site visits, and continually identifying ways to improve security,” said Glenn Burrell, president. “Denis shares our vision of delivering the best customer service in our industry.”

Kelly holds a bachelor’s of arts degree in sociology and criminal law from Eastern Connecticut State University. He is a member of the American Society of Industrial Security, the International Facility Management Association and the Building Owners and Managers Association.

Sunstates Security – one of the fastest growing corporate security companies in the country — recently relocated its Raleigh headquarters to accommodate its expanded staff and larger dedicated personnel training facility.

The company’s focus on superior service has allowed Sunstates to grow strategically and organically in an industry where growth usually occurs in mergers and acquisitions. Employee training and continuing education are critical to Sunstates’ mission of offering its clients the most skilled and knowledgeable professionals in the security industry.

Operating throughout the United States, Sunstates Security LLC is a leading provider of contract security services. With 800–plus employees representing more than 4 million hours of contract security experience, Sunstates is an expert in customizing and deploying quality-driven, cost-effective security programs tailored to meet their clients’ needs.

Well known for its on–site accountability, Sunstates Security has a proven track record of exceptional client service and enjoys one of the highest client retention rates within its industry.
