Department of Homeland Security Replaces Alert System

Osama bin Laden’s death was a turning point for security in the United States. To keep our clients informed about security concerns Sunstates Security placed the Department of Homeland Security link to the National Terrorism Alert on our website home page. DHS recently replaced the Homeland Security Advisory System.

This latest watch system was designed to recognize that all Americans share the responsibility for the nation’s security to show you how you can help, stay prepared, and stay informed. The new system will effectively communicate information about terrorist threats by providing timely, detailed information to the public, government agencies, first responders, airports and other transportation hubs, and the private sector.
