Louis Cerny Promoted

to Senior Billing Specialist

 

Louis Cerny has been a valuable member of the Sunstates Finance team since February 2019.  Starting as a Billing Specialist, he recently received the promotion to Senior Billing Specialist.  His time management, dedication and proficiency in many tools including QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel, are just a few reasons he was selected for his new role.

Senior Billing Specialist 

As a Senior Billing Specialist, Louis will create, correct and send out all invoices for the company.  He works with the managers to verify details and make any adjustments necessary.  Additionally, Louis handles collections, reaching out to customers regarding past due invoices, meeting with the managers to review issues the customers may have and following up to ensure clients have what they need to process payment.  He is a team player and assists the finance department when needed including end-of-month reports and statements.  

Background

Prior to Sunstates, Louis worked for a large facilities support company as an Invoicing Specialist.  He communicated with the AR department and customers to solve and correct billing issues, managed return merchandise authorization, part replacements and processing warranty costs, and was a backup for various accounts receivable and accounts payable roles.  Before that role, Louis worked as a bookkeeper for a few companies.  He entered transactions, reconciled against register and chart of accounts against a bank account in QuickBooks Online, scanned receipts and invoices, matched with expense and income transactions and performed miscellaneous administrative duties involving preparing and sending packages.
