Sunstates Training Featured in Training Magazine

We are honored that our specialized training program achieved national visibility, earning a feature in the November 2025 edition of Training Magazine!

The publication highlighted our innovative best practices for our NCMEC (National Center for Missing and Exploited Children) course and shared compelling examples of how our officers applied critical lessons in real-life situations.

At Sunstates, our commitment to safety extends beyond traditional guarding. Our entire national team of over 7,000 employees must complete the essential NCMEC training within 21 days of onboarding. Our Executive Leadership recognized that as our presence in public spaces grows, our officers may encounter situations where awareness and quick action can make a profound difference.

The comprehensive 45-minute course equips our team to identify situations that indicate exploited children and how to prevent circumstances that could result in a child going missing. It utilizes videos, real-life case studies, clear definitions, and practical reminders to keep team members alert and attentive.

The impactful work of NCMEC, assisting with over 29,500 reports of missing children in 2024, further emphasizes why this training is indispensable.

In the past twelve months, Sunstates team members utilized this training first hand and assisted with missing children in public spaces, in both circumstances the outcome was positive with the child being returned to their parents.
