Phillip Curran (Dallas)

Phillip Curran is our Supervisor of the Year for his exemplary leadership, most notably demonstrated during the catastrophic fire at a key client site. His composed and decisive actions in coordinating the emergency response ensured the safety of all involved and minimized operational disruption, showcasing remarkable resilience and dedication under immense pressure.

Beyond his exceptional crisis management, Phillip adeptly led a 19-member team through a complex SMARRT deployment. His outstanding organizational and leadership skills ensured the project remained on schedule and achieved all objectives. He skillfully balanced individual team member needs with the drive for collective success, all while cultivating a collaborative and supportive atmosphere.

Phillip’s leadership is characterized by a combination of strategic foresight, empathy, and clear communication. He invests time in understanding his team’s strengths and challenges, offering mentorship and guidance that fosters professional growth. His consistent delivery of constructive feedback and his ability to motivate his team have resulted in high productivity and morale across all projects. Phillip’s unwavering commitment to both client needs and Sunstates Security’s standards truly distinguishes him. Anita Graves (Savannah)

Nominated for her heroic and quick-thinking action during a routine patrol when she spotted a 4-year-old child about to walk into a busy downtown Savannah intersection, safely secured the child in her patrol vehicle, and successfully reunited her with her mother after contacting law enforcement.

Janniece Dailey (DC)

Nominated for her consistent leadership over a decade on the site, fostering a collaborative environment with remarkable officer retention, playing a crucial role in updating and enforcing new policies, creating a best practices newsletter, and spearheading the development of a comprehensive updated SOPM.
